2nd Amendment breakdown

The right to keep and bear arms. Gun ownership has been a long standing debate. I support and agree with the constitution that the right to legally bear arms should be afforded to those who are applicable. This interpretation is where I believe the debate resonates from. I believe the founding fathers meant citizens who exercise restraint, have strong character and good moral judgement should be allowed to maintain arms (within context). Does that mean every citizen needs a bazooka? I don't think so. Does the average citizen need military grade weapons? That is open to debate but I think we can agree that the context of gun ownership has two parts, assessing the individual and assessing the weapon(s).
